How to forward a text message
Forwarding a text message lets you pass important information to another contact without retyping it. The exact flow differs slightly between messaging apps, but the core steps are similar on iPhone and Android.
Forwarding on iPhone
Press and hold the message bubble, choose More, select the forward arrow, then pick the destination contact. Review the message before sending.
Forwarding on Android
Press and hold the message, choose Forward, and select the recipient. In some apps, forwarding options appear behind a three-dot menu.
